Wet plate collodion Tintypes and/or ambrotypes: This is one of the most popular workshops at this time. Students will learn how to photograph inside with lights, outside, close to a darkroom or in the field using a portable darkroom. You will learn how to mix and store chemicals safely so that you will be able to do everything on your own once you return home. Students can also make contact prints with an enlarger using positive images. All chemicals, glass and tin will be provided. I have a few cameras that students can use, but I encourage you to bring your own equipment to practice with. Tri-pods are also needed.
